My Approach

I believe that music is an essential part of living a fulfilling life, that it aids personal growth and happiness and it gets us closer to the divine and each other. My approach is centred around helping my clients cultivate self-awareness and confidence and I am committed to providing a safe and non-judgmental space where they can explore their inner world and work towards their desired outcomes.

Piano/TheoryTeacher

I started playing the piano at age four and attended and graduated from the National school for the Arts in Varna, Bulgaria with a diploma in piano performance. During my studies at University of Maryland towards BM and MM in music composition was awarded a director's scholarship for waving tuition fees based on my piano performance skills. I have been teaching piano privately for the past twenty years and helped prepare students for ABRSM piano and theory exams. I have taught piano at the National School for the Arts in Varna, Bulgaria, Allegheny College (PA), The Ottley music School (MD) and the past few years at the Windsor Piano School and Barnet Education Arts Trust.

My Services

The piano is a great instrument to learn. The one to one lessons are custom tailored to what you want to achieve and your music preferences. That could vary from learning for pleasure in order to play a few favourite tunes to preparing for the highest level of board exams in piano and music theory. I teach from my home in South Harrow or online. I have more than 20 years experience teaching the piano to both children and adults and pride myself in providing quality education where my students have passed high grades with distinction and advanced their piano playing and understanding of music greatly.
